The Toyota Motor Co. Ltd was first established in 1937 by Sakichi Toyoda who had earlier established a spinning-weaving company.
Toyota launched its first small car (SA Model) in 1947. Production of Toyota vehicles outside Japan began in 1959 at a small plant in Brazil.

"Since its launch in the mid-1990s, the Toyota Avalon has been Toyota's only full-size sedan. It has always been a solid performer, with standard V6 power, lots of interior space and a reputation for reliability and durability.
Toyota gave the Avalon a complete overhaul for the third-generation model. Inside and out, the new design looks upscale and refined."
