Jaguar introduced the large Jaguar Mark VII Sedan in 1951 which was a car especially conceived for the American Market. Jaguar soon found itself overwhelmed with orders. The Mark VII and its Jaguar successors gathered rave review after rave review from magazines such as Road and Track and Motor. In 1956 a Jaguar Mark VII won the prestigious Monte-Carlo Rally.

"Following its sporting successes in the mid-50’s Jaguar turned its attention to the small saloon market and announced the Mark 2 Jaguar in 1959. Eventually there were three engine variants in the range, a 2.4, a 3.4 and a 3.8 litre. One version of the latter, designed to woo the US market, produced a top speed of 136 mph."

If you, the customer, are more than 100km from home and your car is immobile for more than 24 hours, provision of one night’s accommodation or a rental car for 5 days is offered. Ground transport back to the retailer to pick up the car when it is repaired. If no Jaguar retailer is near the breakdown area, your car will be towed to owner's local retailer.
