The BMW logo is symbolic of a white propeller blade, against a blue sky. It reflects the origins of BMW as a maker of military aircraft engines during the first world war.
In the 328 Roadster, BMW produced a car which became a legend of sports car and racing history. This BMW model was nominated for Car of the Century in 1999.
"If you're after the ultimate in performance and refinement in your 3 Series, the 335i is it. The twin-turbo 3.0-litre petrol engine is thirsty, but it’s smooth, quiet and brutally powerful."
Look at the blue smoke coming from the exhaust pipe! Because the cost of overhauling or replacing an engine often exceeds the value of an older car, some people will keep driving a "mosquito fogger" in spite of the blue clouds of smoke left behind. Never mind the pollution it causes, they figure oil is cheaper than a new or rebuilt engine. That philosophy may be okay if you live out in the sticks somewhere, but in urban areas that require periodic vehicle emissions testing, an engine that's burning oil usually won't pass the test because of excessive hydrocarbon (HC) emissions.
They may soon receive some legal enforcement to get that engine rebuilt.
